THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE AGAINST EXECUTION

       كميته بين المللى عليه اعدام

The international committee against execution

According to the Islamic Republic of Iran there has been 72 executions this

year (2007). International statistics shows that in 2005 94 persons

were executed, and in 2006, 117 persons. 91 per cent of all

executions have taken place in these countries: China, Iran, Irak, USA,

Pakistan, Sudan.

It is obvious that the Islamic Republic of Iran uses execution sentences to

oppress people and to stop the citizens' social organizations. Human rights

activists all over the world are against the Iranian regime, and they express

this through their protests, articles and art. In addition, they want to stop this

regime and the suppression of women, youths, students, workers, teachers

and to stop torture and stoning.

The International Comittee Against Execution wants to put an immediate

stop to the inhuman treatments in Iran. So far, we have succeeded in

getting European countries' attention regarding this topic. We stopped

Shahla Jahed's execution and brought forward a proposition on eliminating

the execution of children and youths. The International Comittee Against

Execution pleads to human rights organizations to help us put a stop to

these execution sentences. We will do everything in our power to get the

European Parliament and all political powers to co operate with us. We are

calling everyone to participate in this protest.
